Dear friends, we are happy to let you know that we are starting to work on the 4th issue of "FIX" magazine. And now you can take direct part in creating it!

The topic of the issue is "Bodies". The fourth "FIX" is going to be focused on the investigation of body phenomena and physicality in different manifastations. From the point of cultural and personal view, through the perspective of artistic, publicistic and scientific interpretation.

Everyone has its own "realtionship story" with their own body. Despite the fact that we spend our whole life in it, the body remains something mysterious, vague and forbidden.

Every issue of the magazine is a research. It isn't just a series of photos, beautiful and mind-blowing images. It's an attempt to go deeper. To get the gist and come up with a general feeling.

What will the new issue be like? We don't know yet, as we'll create it together with you. This issue will mainly define what matters for you and what you want to say.

Topic Description
It can be a project where you are investigating your own body, your relationship with it, trying to find answers to questions. It’s a project about cultural and social phenomenon. About some person, who is interesting and significant for you, or about a group of people. We aren’t seeking exotic stories. Something that touches and moves you in particular is the very thing we are interested in. Something that you consider important and meaningful. Don’t look back and don’t try to make an impression. Listen to yourself and find the topic which will be close to you, somethig you’d like to go into.

We don’t set any strict limits for you in the choice of a project format and research directions. Here you can see the sample list of sections to inspire. If you find something yours, which is not on the list, go ahead. Do the project and send it to us!

1. In search of beauty. Beauty production. Beauty and body. Trends and standards.
2. Corporal experience. ( Motherhood; living one’s own body through physical activity; jobs and hobbies, connected with physical exercise; specialists involved in relations to someone else’s body: autopsist, photographers, doctors, massagists, etc.)
3. Gender.
4. Deviations and normality.
5. Your own and others’s body.
6. Sex.
7. Aliens ( everybody who can’t go under the standard notion of physical norm: elderly people, overweight people, the disabled, people with hereditary deseases, etc. )

- Photo project
- Video project
- Essay, tale, poem
- Op-ed piece
- Series of illustrations, collage
- Research article with humanitarian focus. Fiction form and synthesis of forms are also welcomed!

The best of the best, “breathtaking/ we are speechless/ we’ve forgotten mom’s and even our own name” will be issued in the “Fix#4 Bodies”!
